Prof.Dr.Ali Mahmood AL-shammari ,the president of Jabir bin Hayyan medical university ,and Prof.Dr. Safaa AL- obeidi, the scientific assistant have attended the scientific seminar that held in AL-zahraa teaching hospital  about a project of (opining a childbirth unit without pain),which will be the nucleus for the first formal project.

    In this seminar, Dr. Zeinab AL-khafaji, the head of gynecology and obstetrics department at the faculty of medicine of Kufa university, has asserted that this procedure will contribute in easing the pain during childbirth by using the technique of epidural anesthesia ; which is known among public as injecting the patient in the back. She added that this procedure is a common one which is used by 50% of women in the world to give birth and confirmed that this project requires a serious work to make it a successful one
