The President of the university and his scientific and administrative assistants have attended the first international conference held by Nursing college.
Prof.Dr.Ali Mahmood Al-shammari, president of Jabir bin Hayyan medical university , accompanied by Prof.Dr. Safaa Al-obeidi , the scientific assistants, and assist.prof. Amed Al-muhanna, the administrative assistant; have attended the first international conference that has been held by Nursing faculty in Kufa university under the emblem (The humanitarian and healthy crisises of decampment and migration ). The conference was held at the grand hall of education faculty under the auspices of the minister of higher education and scientific research; in association with United Nations agencies, international organizations and general secretariat of Kufa holy mosque.
It was attended by high-figures academician ; presidents of universities and deans ;and other academician figures from inside and outside Iraq. The aim of the conference is to have knowledge about the basic causes and problems which the emigrants suffer from. Additionally; it aims to initiate researches and studies for finding actual solutions to this problem.
Through the interviews with president of the university by the coverage media of the conference ;Prof.Dr. Ali Al-shammari said " public have a clear idea about the situation of the crisis that our country gets through, and the emigration of thousands families who suffer countless problems ;healthly ,humanly and socially ,which come as a result for terrorism vicious attack. However, the general secretariat of the holy shrines and the people of our province have a lot of contributions in helping the afflicted emigrant families, they offer them shelter ,financial and incorporeal support. Such cases could not be solved by the government and local capacities only; but by gathering the efforts of the international organizations as it is the situation of disasters in many countries ,even the advanced ones. This conference is an important activity in unifying the efforts with global agencies to contribute in solving the humanitarian ,healthy problems and participating in publishing the facts about terrorism in Iraq".
