Under the auspice of Prof.Dr.Ali Mahmood AL-shammari, the president of  Jabir Ibn medical university, and in association with the medical Swiss company ACINO, The faculty of medicine  has held  a scientific  seminar about (utilizing the information technology and medical  techniques for advancing the faculty members and improving  health care for the community)at  Ibn Cina hall.

   The seminar has been managed  by four lecturers ;each one of them has present a different issue that related to the main topic of the symposium .

   The first lecture was by the programmer Ahmed Munaf in which he displayed the publishing  methods and devices of scientific research.

  The second one was by Prof.Dr.Abbas AL-obudi, the dean of dentistry college of Kufa university, in which he talked about the importance of (H-index for the member of teaching staff).

   The third one was by Prof.Dr.Safa AL-obaidi, the vice chancellor for scientific affairs, which entitled  ((  Longevity of surgeons)).

And the fourth lecture was by Prof.Dr. Mohammed   Fakherdeen  , the head of Physiology department at faculty of medicine under the title ((Sperm retrieval from obstructive azoosperic patients and role in" ART".

Relevantly, the president of the university has asserted on the importance of publishing researches  for public interest and giving the others the advantage of acquiring information from the  studies and findings that have been achieved by the researcher, as well as ; to get along with the scientific advancement and technology in the  system of electronic publishing that is followed in the international universities.
