The department of quality and academic performance at Jabir ibn Hayyan medical university, and in association with (Innovators company for practicing and organizing seminars and workshops); has organized a workshop about (quality criteria in the academic and teaching institutions of the ministry of higher education and scientific research).

   The workshop, which has been held at ibn AL-heitham  hall in the faculty of medicine, has been initiated by a brief speech for the head of the quality and academic performance department Prof .Dr.Mohammed Fakherdeen. Then , the executive manager of the company the engineer Mazin Ahmed talked about the importance of applying  the systems of academic performance and using the criteria of ISO system in the  universities for achieving the progress in the work and accomplishing the aim of  joining the Iraqi universities to the system of international classification.

   In addition to, the engineer Muyaser has amply discusses the criteria of applying ISO9001.

   Relevantly,  Prof.Dr. Ali Mahmood AL-shammari , the president of the university , has said that this workshop comes as a confirmation of the scientific process that our university proclaimed, for the sake of improving  the academic standard and receptiveness to the society.As well as, advancing the functional level and academic work of our university staff.
